Monkey Poet (Matt Panesh)
Matt Panesh, the monkey in question, has performed at fringes, music festivals, colleges, fund-raising events and poetry nights all over world..
His relentless gigging has resulted in both awards and walkouts, five star reviews and demands for refunds. He even once had a garbage can hurled at him.
Awards include Pick of the Toronto Fringe, Best Poet at the San Francisco Fringe, Technicians' Choice at the San Francisco Fringe, Best In Venue at the Indianapolis and London Fringes, "Producer's Pick of the Fringe" Ontario.
The Monkey Poet's upcoming album “War Crimes Action Man” will be partly accompanied by Debt signings and will be available later this year.
