Jonathan Bonfiglio
Jonathan Bonfiglio is a writer, producer and organic agricultor of almonds and olives.
His most recent play, Midnight, When Trumpets Cry, opened at the Brighton Fringe Festival in May 2009 and was presented at the Latchmere (Theatre503) in October, touring throughout 2010. Tatchell, his tenth play, and his last in English, opens at the Oxford Fringe Festival in March 2010 before going on a UK tour. He is also now completing La Linea, in Spanish, and two novels, Acapulco Falls and Ghost Dog, a children's book.
As producer, he runs Kuiperfest in north Spain (www.kuiperfest.com), Walrus Nights in London, the Dos Equis Series (www.dosequisseries.com) and various other one-off events, including musical tours for artists in various countries. He is also Creative Consultant to the Mexican artist Beatriz Canfield Zapata and musicians Louis Barabbas, James G Wilson and Emily Manuel - all on Debt Records.
He is currently touring the world with a talk: On Movement (and Memory).
