DEBT Records is a label born out of troubled times, a label nurse-fed on the understanding that current music industry practices are failing both artists and listeners. DEBT IS A LABEL THAT DOES NOT BELONG TO THAT INDUSTRY
Sam Alder
Sam is one of the busiest freelance illustrator-animators in the world. He is also the co-director (with Toby Potter) of film companies Plastic Zoo and MCR Scenewipe. In addition to these projects he paints murals and draws for twisted comic strip Rented Teeth.
To date he has worked closely with a number of Debt signings, most notably animating music videos for Louis Barabbas & The Bedlam Six. He is also the composer for the songs of Molly Macleod.
Recently he illustrated Louis Barabbas' book "Love, Sighs, Regrets and Goat" (The Tragically Flawed Press - 2010) and is set to collaborate with him again later this year on the animated feature Myth of the Deluge (featuring the vocal talents of Liz Green, Alabaster Deplume and Richard Barry).
His work has been appreciated in many countries besides his native England, particularly in Spain, Mexico and the USA.
